MINUTES
at Steve and Kirk's House, Tucson, AZ
20 February 2004
  1. Present were Gannd, Kirk, Arlene, Don, Julian and Gordon.
  2. Minutes.
    1. The Minutes of the meeting of 24 January 2004 were approved as submitted.
  3. Pursewarden's Report. The Pursewarden reported that the Grove had more than $80 in petty cash.
    1. Arlene and Kirk will work together on getting donation letters out to the constituency.

  4. New Business.
    1. Meetings. In April the meetings will revert back to Wednesdays.
    2. Worship. In April we will also begin Saturday morning worship. It will consist of a rite which is able to be performed by a single celebrant, and followed by a more formalized dedicant program study. Kirk commented that if we had babysitting, we would be more likely to bring in new people. Julian will look into the possibility as well as the necessity of having an "Oak School" for children.
    3. Donations. Julian moved that the Grove donate $25 to a pagan in need of linens as a benevolent gift. Kirk seconded the motion. Gannd moved that $50 be sent to Archdruid Emeritus Isaac Bonewitz who is in great need right now. Gordon seconded the motion. Both motions passed unanimously.

  5. Imbolc 2004
    1. This ritual used the Irish Pantheon.
    2. We had 36 people in attendance.
    3. The Celebrants were:

    4. OMEN - Don did an intuitive omen and it was found to be favorable.
  6. Spring Equinox 2004 - Welsh Pantheon Rite
    1. Gates open at 5, pre-ritual at 5:30, ritual at 6 p.m. at Summerlands on March 20, 2004.
    2. Nature Spirits, Shining Ones, and Ancestors will be called by the Sierra Vista people. They will also do their 3 dedicant oaths.
    3. The Celebrants will be:

  8. Desert Magic Festival - May 6 - 9, 2004
    1. The Festival dates have been changed from April to May 6-9, 2004.

    3. Decisions have been made regarding the Festival. It will be a private event open only to ADF and TAWN members and guests for this first year. There will be no day rate. No formal vendors. There will be a meal plan for those desiring for $50.
    4. We decided on asking Ian Corrigan and Liafal to do workshops on Celtic Sorcery and Sidhe allies.
    5. We are not assigning parts for the Desert Magic Rituals until they are written. Exception: D1 for Thursday night will be Kirk, and D1 for Saturday ritual will be Gannd.
