Meeting at Gannd's House, Tucson, AZ - 21 November 2001
1. Present were: Members - Gannd, Don Davis, Arlene Davis and Kirk Thomas. Also present was guest Michele Briere. With 4 out of the six members present, a quorum was reached.
2. Kirk presented the group with draft by-laws for SSG based on those of two other ADF groves.
MOTION: That the Sonoran Sunrise Grove accept these by-laws, with corrections as noted, as the new
by-laws for the Grove, to become effective on December 31, 2001. Motion Approved.
3. The members decide to hold their annual meeting on Wednesday, December 19, 2001
4. Nominations for the posts of Senior Druid, Pursewarden and Scribe were made in preparation for the Annual Meeting. The following nominations were made:
a. Senior Druid - David Foster (Gannd)
b. Pursewarden - Arlene Davis
c. Scribe - Kirk Thomas
5. Gannd announced that should he be elected in December, he would appoint Don Davis as the Grove Webmaster.
6. The Yule Ritual was set for Friday, December 21, 2001 to be held at Don and Arlene Davis' house. Arlene will be Druid, Kirk will be Seer and Gannd will be Bard.
7. Kirk Thomas mentioned that his new stone circle would be ready in time for Imbolc, and that he hoped that it could be used for that festival as a TAWN open ritual.
8. The Open Circle Yule Party will be held at Don and Arlene Davis' house on Sunday, December 23, 2001.
9. The next Grove meeting will take place on December 5, 2001 at 6:30 pm at Maxim's Restaurant.
